(51) Al-Haqq Beautiful Names of our Rabb From 100 Names Of Allah
Al-Haqq
Meaning - The Truth
We should really ask Allah Al Haqq for this beautiful dua -
اللهم ارنا الحق حقا وارزقنا اتباعه
وارنا الباطل باطلا وارزقنا اجتنابه
"O, Allah! Show us Truth as Truth and give us ability to follow it and show us Falsehood as Falsehood and give us the ability to avoid it."
Allah Al Haqq has commanded us -
“And do not mix the truth with falsehood or conceal the truth while you know [it].”
(Holy Quran, 2:42)
SubhanAllah! We, as believers, should not conceal the truth.
We are the abd (slaves) of Allah Al Haqq and He has commanded us to be on haqq and not to hide it!
So, in the name of this beautiful attribute of Allah subhanahu wa'taala, I consider it as a responsibility to convey the truth which perhaps we have forgotten of or perhaps we are not aware of, because we are not told about it!
Allah Al Haqq has sent His Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) with deen e haqq (Islam) which is not confined only to some rituals, it is a complete way of living life, on all aspects, be it political, social or judicial. And we see from the seerah (biography of Prophet Muhammad PBUH) that the deen was established on state level in Madina, and then the khulafa e rashideen (the righteous caliphs) carried forward the pious legacy of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and ruled the state by Islam as deen e haqq on all levels.
And then came many khalifa (rulers) after that, some good, some not that good but the essence of Islam being established as deen e haqq was somehow present.
But this 28 rajab 1442 hijri, it has been officially 100 years without the khalifa who could have implemented Islam as deen e haqq and provide justice to all without the bias of religion.
We need to understand the importance of having a just and righteous khalifa and we should study how the khilafa was abolished and what role did the foreign interventions play and what intellectual decline in the later stages in Ottoman Khilafah had fuelled the fall and how our own people, inside the ummah, especially the young turks had played a major role in the fall of the khilafah.
We as the servants of Allah Al Haqq should be aware of these historical facts as it is very important to know what shortcomings on our part and what plots the outsider enemies plotted to abolish the system through which the deen e haqq, a way of living life sent by Allah Al Haqq for the mankind's welfare was brought to its decline and finally to the fall. We need to read and know the truth about the Sykes-Picot agreement, how these two people Sykes and Picot divided the united Muslim lands into many lands with imaginary lines, upon which, sadly today we take pride.
As servants of Allah Al Haqq we should strive for knowing the haqq, following the haqq and establishing the haqq.
(52) Al-Wakeel Beautiful Names of our Rabb From 100 Names Of Allah
Al-Wakeel
Meaning - The Disposer of all affairs.
“Those to whom hypocrites said, ‘Indeed, the people have gathered against you, so fear them.’ But it [merely] increased them in faith, and they said, ‘Sufficient for us is Allah, and [He is] the best Disposer of affairs.’”
(Holy Qur’an, 3:173)
SubhanAllah!
Allahu Akbar!
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: When Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) was thrown into the fire, he said: “Allah (Alone) is sufficient for us, and, He is the Best Disposer of affairs.” So did Messenger of Allah, Muhammad (peace be upon him), when he was told: “A great army of the pagans had gathered against him, so fear them”. But this (warning) only increased them in Faith and they said: “Allah (Alone) is sufficient for us, and He is The Best Disposer of affairs (for us).”
As an ummah, we too feel like the enemies have gathered together against us with all their might and mains, but we need to trust this beautiful attribute of Allah subhanahu wa ta'aala that He is Al-Wakeel - The Best Disposer of all affairs.
What we see are evil plots and what we feel is fear but we need to understand that we should do what our father Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) had done, he (peace be upon him) trusted Allah as Al Wakeel even though he was being thrown into the big fire whose flames were so high that a very special catapult was made to throw him into that fire.
But what did Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) do?
He (peace be upon him) trusted Allah as Al-Wakeel and the fire became coolness and security for him by Allah Al Wakeel's will.
Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the believers too were threatened of the large army of pagans against them but it only increased them in faith!
We need to remember Allah with this beautiful attribute often as it will give us strength to fight the fears and to overcome all the heat of the fire which has been flamed with evil plots all across the globe against us.
We as the slaves of Allah Al-Wakeel, need to strive to the best of our capabilities to stand and preach the truth, and even if we are dragged to the catapult to be thrown into the fire or to the big army against us, we need to remember our Rabb with this beautiful attribute so that no fire and no large numbers of armies can burn our faith in the One who is The Best Disposer of all affairs, Allah Al Wakeel!
In times of anxiety and fear always recite - Hasbunallahu Wa'nimal Wakeel!
(53) Al-Qawiyy Beautiful Names of our Rabb From 100 Names Of Allah
Al-Qawiyy
Meaning - The Perfect in Strength, The All-Mighty.
Sometimes, even on individual levels, we feel very low and weak and it seems, as if we won't be able to do anything productive again and we have no energy left for any good work to accomplish.
We feel so weak that we give up even before starting.
The ongoing personal example to cite is that, recently I have been tested covid positive, alhamdulillah I am recovering but the energy levels are so down and the weakness is so high that most of the time, I feel like I won't be able to write again and perhaps I won't be able to complete the explanation of these beautiful names of Allah subhanahu wa ta'aala ever.
Alhamdulillah, But Allah Al Qawiyy has His own beautiful ways to give us strength when we are in our lowest of lows to make us feel empowered again.
Allah Al Qawiyy says -
"...Surely your Lord is The Strong, The Mighty."
(Holy Quran, 11:66)
"... Verily! Allah will help those who help His (cause). Verily, Allah is All Strong, All Mighty."
(Holy Quran, 22:40)
Allah is Al Qawiyy - The All Strong, The All Mighty.
We need to glorify Allah subhanahu wa ta'aala with this beautiful attribute often, by His will, we will gain the strengthening help from Allah Al Qawiyy when we will work for His cause In sha Allah.
We need to remind ourselves again and again that all power and strength comes from Allah Al Qawiyy alone and despite our emotional lows and unfavorable apparent circumstances, the ultimate fact is that all power comes from Allah Al Qawiyy alone and we being His slaves should never allow the pessimism to nourish in our thoughts.
May Allah Al Qawiyy bless us all with power to help the cause of All-Powerful, Al Qawiyy.
Ameen.
(54) Al-Mateen Beautiful Names of our Rabb From 100 Names Of Allah
Al-Mateen
Meaning - The Firm
Allahu Akbar! We know the Prophets (peace be upon them all) and along with them the believers fought the tyranny and oppression. They too got resistance and denial along with severe brutal treatments, but they never lost heart for that which did befall them in Allah's way, nor did they weaken or degrade themselves.
Rather they prayed to Allah Al Mateen to bless them with firmness.
"And they said nothing but: ‘Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and our transgressions (in keeping our duties to You), establish our feet firmly, and give us victory over the disbelieving folk.’ So Allah gave them the reward of this world, and the excellent reward of the Hereafter . . ."
(Holy Quran, 3:147-148)
In the battles of good and evil, we need to glorify our Rabb with this beautiful attribute so that we can establish ourselves firmly in striving for His cause and so that the deceptive and evil plots of the oppressors don't trap us.
We need to understand that evil is feeble and is bound to perish. It may happen that we may or may not see evil and tyrants getting destroyed in our lives but we should be rest assured and firm in our yaqeen (belief) that whether we get to see their destructive end or not, they are bound to perish. Like for example - the tyrant Pharaoh had surpassed all the limits of Allah, he used to kill the male children as well, many from that time had witnessed his cruelty but not his destructive drowning as they might have died before seeing Pharoah's end.
So, is the case, we may or may not see the oppression and oppressor's end in our lifetime but we should be firm in our actions to stand against it as per our capabilities and we should be firm in our yaqeen that the evil has no firmness or stability and will perish!
Allah Al Mateen says -
"And the parable of an evil word is that of an evil tree uprooted from the surface of the earth, having no stability."
Allah Al Mateen further says -
"And I will grant them a respite. Verily! My Plan is strong."
The little respite/freedom given to the oppressors should not shake our firmness in faith in Allah Al Mateen.
We should pray to Allah Al Mateen -
يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوبِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِى عَلَى دِينِكَ –
"Oh Turner of hearts, make my heart firm upon Your deen."
May Allah Al Mateen establish our feet firmly upon His deen and may we be victorious against all the evil plottings of the zaalimeen. Ameen
(55) Al-Waliyy Beautiful Names of our Rabb From 100 Names Of Allah
Al-Waliyy
Meaning - The Protective Friend
We all desire a friend in our life with whom we can share our concerns, anxieties and the one with whom we don't have to think before sharing our thoughts, the one who listens, understands and provides a solution to the problem. A friend that is always near and is always responsive. A friend who protects and directs.
Allah Al Waliyy says -
“He is the One Who sends down rain after people have given up hope, spreading out His mercy. He is the Guardian, the Praiseworthy.”
(Holy Qur’an, 42:28)
There are times when we lose hope and are on the verge of despair, but then Allah Al Waliyy pours out His mercy as He sends down the rain to the dried and barren land and revives it again.
We need to have trust in Allah Al Waliyy - The Protective Friend, The One who knows everything but loves to listen to our worries.
We should glorify our Rabb with this beautiful attribute so that we can remind ourselves that no matter how sad, heartbroken or lonely we might feel but the fact is that Allah our Rabb, The Protective Friend is near to us more than our life (jugular) vein. -
"and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein."
(Holy Qur’an, 50:16)
and this will make us feel content and optimistic again even when we will be dragged down into the pits of lows and despair by the apparent surrounding around us.
Imagine! Having Allah subhaana hu wa ta’aala as our Waliyy everywhere even when we are inside our graves, gone and forgotten by the people above the earth -
"... and He is with you wherever you are."
(Holy Qur’an, 57:04).
We should try our best to become friends of Allah Al Waliyy, and for that we need to follow His commands and stop from what He subhanahu wa ta’aala has prohibited and do voluntarily good deeds (nawafil) so that we can earn His pleasure.
Alhamdulillah! Even the thought of being in the category of Allah's friend is so amazingly beautiful.
"Surely the friends of Allah shall have no fear, nor shall they grieve."
(Holy Qur’an, 10:62).
No fear shall come upon them from the horrors of the hereafter. Nor shall they grieve that they didn't fulfill their purpose of living.
They will have tranquillity from Allah Al-Waliyy.
"Allah is the protecting friend of those who believes, He takes them out of darkness into light."
(Holy Qur’an, 2: 257)
We often think that we are not capable of being His friend but we can clearly see Allah Al Waliyy says that He is The Protecting Friend of the believers and He brings them from darkness to light. Alhamdulillah.
"Whoever takes a Wali of Mine as an enemy, I will wage war on him."
(Hadith Qudsi, Al-Bukhari)
Imagine! Being a friend of The Protective Friend, Who is All-Powerful, All-Seeing, Who knows who is our enemy and Allah Al Waliyy waging war against him, isn't it marvellous?
Allahu Akbar!
O our Rabb, Allah subhanahu wa ta’aala, bless us with the honour of You being our Al Waliyy. Ameen.
